A STORY OF FICTION BY CATMAN
Jeff couldn't believe his ears! Tony was on the phone telling him that Jack had just proposed to him! Gay marriage wasn't legal in New Orleans, but they were planning to get married out at sea on a RSVP cruise. An "all-gay cruise" where the boat's captain could marry them in International Waters.
It was more ceremonial than legally binding under the law.
"It will be a 7 day cruise down thru the Caribbean. Of course, we want you on board with us! I can't think of anyone that I would rather have as my Best Man. We have been friends since grade school. It will be over the first week in August. I know you have some vacation time coming, so apply for it now. I will pay for everything."
Of course Jeff agreed, (maybe, somewhat reluctantly) he had his doubts about Jack. While he was a hot looking man, he always struck Jeff as being just a little too slick. Maybe smarmy was a better word. Tony seemed to be blind to Jack's imperfections.
It was the little things that bothered Jeff. For example, Jack never picked up the tab to pay for any meal out in a restaurant when the three of them dinned together. He never did anything "romantic" or "special" for Tony. (Including Christmas or Tony's Birthday!) Worst of all, Jeff heard rumors that involved infidelity from Jack. Jeff really thought that Tony deserved better!
Regardless, the day arrived for departure...
They had adjoining state rooms on the Liddo Deck. Jeff had his room next to the one occupied by Tony and Jack. This cruise was like a very gay version of the old TV show: "Love Boat"! From stern to the bow, was nothing but hot looking gay men. Jeff said, "Fuck those 'Disney Boat Cruises', this is my idea of Fantasy-land!!!!"
Once they were out to sea, Jeff almost forgot about his concerns about Tony and Jack in the midst of wall-to-wall men in speedos, thongs and, even some, in just pouches. Everywhere he looked was nothing but eye-candy!!! He saw things happening that he never expected to see on a boat...
Men naked in the gym's workout rooms, naked guys showing hard in the various public in and outdoor showers, in public places like the multiple Jacuzzi pools, and even public displays of erections all around the ship! Yep, he liked looking at naked men, but not Jack!
It seemed that every time he walked into Tony's stateroom, he would encounter Jack totally nude.
There always seemed to be some logical explanation. (He had just gotten out of the shower, he was ready for bed or just getting up. He was changing clothes before leaving the cabin.) Sure, he looked totally awesome, but he was Tony's boyfriend.
